Anita launched her career as a journalist at TOR-STAR media in Toronto, writing about fashion and entertainment before accepting a job as a Communications Director for Chip and Pepper denim. She went on to manage brands such as: John Varvatos, Victorinox Swiss Army, Ted Baker and Tommy Hilfiger. In 2008, she moved to New York and became the CMO of Robert Graham and was the youngest and only female on the Board of Directors during the brand's acquisition. In 2012, she started her own public relations agency based in Toronto and Los Angeles called New City PR that serviced clients such as Hulu, Stink Films, Material Pictures, VFILES and eOne. New City PR merged with Los Angeles based marketing agency, Protagonist and Anita became the company's President overseeing clients such as Pepsi Co, Westfield Group and Weight Watchers. Anita exited the company to start Self Employed with Sarah. As the Chief Growth Officer her focus is on driving new business and providing revenue generating disciplines and strategies for the company and its clients. She lives in Los Angeles with her daughter, Mia, and husband, film director, Chris Cottam.

For over 15 years, Sarah has specialized in talent relations, branding & creative direction for both blue chip companies and street artists alike. Her career includes working on Facebook’s first-ever category exclusive deal for Chase Card Services, launching Lil Wayne’s footwear line SPECTRE by SUPRA as Global PR Director of One Distribution and starting and selling her first agency, SARAH IVORY PR, to The Brand House in 2015. Raised trilingual in Spanish, English and French, Sarah grew up in Miami before earning her B.A. at New York University & eventually relocating to Los Angeles where she co-founded Self Employed. She lives between NYC & LA with her husband.
